Moving On

It’s official.  I’ll be leaving Blue Sky this summer, almost 8 years after being hired to work on “Robots”.   I have accepted a job at 38 Studios in Providence, RI and I’m super excited to apply what I’ve learned from my film experience to my life-long love of video games.  While I’m totally stoked to start another chapter in my life, it will be extremely difficult to say goodbye to some of my best friends I’ve made during my time at Blue Sky.

  1. Pete!
I can’t imagine Blue Sky without you! .. but I’m also very excited for you and wish you the best of luck.
I feel so lucky to have gotten to work with you while I was over there. You were so supportive and helpful. I don’t know how I would’ve made it without you. Seriously. 🙂
Thank you so much for everything and I hope I get the chance to work with you again. Your work at Blue Sky is truly something to be proud of and 38 Studios will be lucky to have you.
    Don’t be a stranger, eh?
    All the best,

  2. Wow, man! What happens to the tree house now? And are they going to have to re-do the end of all the training videos now? 🙂

As Teresa said, it was great working with you, and thanks for all of your help while I was there. Good luck!

    Right on,

  3. Congrats, Pete!

Wishing you and yours all the best on this new exciting journey.

    You will be missed.

  4. Woa, that’s huge news Pete! I’m sure everyone’s cursing you out for leaving, heh, but you’ll be missed there. Congrats on the new job though! You definitely put a ton of great work and dedication into the studio, not the least of which was all of your work and training videos for the temps.

    Good luck! Wario 33!

  5. Congrats Pete! I’m very excited to hear the news… I’m sure Bluesky was an amazing place to grow. Best of luck with your new venture.
